Accenture Technology Labs is looking for managers to lead consulting engagements and R&D projects that apply predictive analytics technologies to solve our clients' business problems. You will work with individuals from Technology Labs to envision and create applications that use these emerging technologies. You will also work with individuals from Technology Labs and Accenture's consulting practice in proposing and delivering innovative work to our clients. Responsibilities of this position include:
Delivering innovative analytics solutions to clients
Maintaining and expanding client relationships
Spearheading and developing new R&D assets; being a technology evangelist
Leading, coaching, managing and educating junior team members
Applying predictive analytics technologies in new business areas
Job Requirements:
Masters of Science or higher preferred in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
4+ years of experience with data mining, predictive modeling and statistical analysis
Experience with direct application of predictive analytics technologies (machine learning, modeling / simulation, optimization) to implement client-facing solutions. Experience with solutions in supply chain optimization, fraud detection, customer profitability, cost reduction or optimization, demand planning, etc. preferred.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data mining tools, technologies and techniques Experience in designing, building and deploying custom solutions for clients.
Experience in explaining and proposing solutions that involve analytic technologies to customers. Previous sales and delivery experience preferred.
Travel may be required during customer-facing projects. Minimal travel during internal R&D projects.
